At our most recent Client Forum, some of the UK’s top retailers and property builders came together to share best practice and gain an insight into the ways in which other businesses effectively manage their property data. Hosted at our offices in the Harborough Innovation Centre, delegates listened to a number of informative talks by some of the industry’s top names, including Sainsbury’s, Boots and property builders McCarthy & Stone.

Toby Chisnall, working with Elecosoft client McCarthy & Stone, began the forum with an insightful talk about the persistent confusion around BIM in the construction and property industry, and how the IconSystem ensured this would not be the case for McCarthy & Stone.

Speaking of the same project, McCarthy & Stone's Matt Richardson emphasised the importance of a Common Data Environment (CDE) for property data management and explained how the IconSystem's Projects & Properties solution is now McCarthy & Stone's CDE.

Toby Chisnall then returned to speak from experience to our delegates about what it is like to work with Elecosoft, including what to expect when initiating a partnership with Elecosoft.

Boots’ Health and Safety Advisor, James Buckland-Price, also led a talk about the benefits of the IconSystem Projects & Properties solution, used by some of the top retailers and property developers in the UK.

Sainsbury’s System Development Manager Michael Barber and PCSG Associate Director Mark Stodgell closed the forum with a presentation about how the IconSystem brought intelligence to 20 years’ worth of legacy data for Sainsbury’s, bringing together masses of data into one, easy-to-use system.

We’d like to thank all of our speakers and delegates who attended our annual Client Forum.
